Factors which influence adolescence development Ø There are many factors which influence overall personality development. For example (Physical, cognitive, moral and social). Here we are discuss about different factors which sometimes influence positively or some times it effects negatively on development process.
Factors There are some main factors those are as follows: 1) Family 2) Neighbors 3) Peer groups 4) Culture and linguistic difference 5) Society 6) Religious values 7) Political beliefs 8) Education
Continue… 1) Family- family is the first school of any children. family socialize their child, teach them right and wrong decision, moral values, social rules through which child grown up and adjust with their family and social environment. But if the family members are not supporting, they have family issues like domestic violence, drug abuse, lack of understanding between parents then the growth and development process of adolescent is not happen properly.
Continue…. 2) Neighbors- Neighbors are silent factors which influence adolescent development. youths spend a larger time and share their life with others in outside of their home. Neighbors contribute of global identity formation among adolescents. But if neighbors are not ideal then youths learn lots of antisocial activities from them. Thus it’s a result of maladaptive development in youths.
Continue…. 3) Peer Group- Peer group influence youths attitude, behaviour, social interaction process, cooperation, academic achievement any more things. If selection process of peer group is not appropriate then youths have develop major issues like violence, drug abuse, antisocial behaviour, alcoholism, etc. such kind of things negatively influence on adolescents overall development process.
