Infection Prevention and Control Care Home Audit Tool 12 th October 2020 Survey sent out to 132 care homes across Bradford Districts and Craven to establish a benchmark for Infection prevention and control training, Infection prevention champions, IPC audits, Winter resilience planning and learning from outbreaks
What you told us • 100% of homes have completed IPC national training either via BMDC or via national provider • 125/132 have responded to the IPC survey responded 95% return rate • 97% of Homes have a designated Infection Prevention and Control lead (link champion) • The IPC Lead is a key for initiating best IPC practice within their working area, by education, leadership skills, and by developing networking opportunities.
