Outline of contents *except DASD �Front Cover page – fill in your Company name, Student name, Student ID, Programme, Trimester �Declaration page – fill in and sign �Summary – 1 paragraph, 1 page �Table of Contents - list all sections, chapters and sub-headings with their respective page numbers �Report body (chapters) - around 8, 000 words (3040 pages) �References (if any) – Harvard style �Appendix - (QS) Attach the Area of Work Involvement �Log records �Assessment page and rubrics – must include !
Report body (chapters) �Each chapter should be given a title which reflects its content. �E. g. Based on different tasks or projects given �Example �Chapter 1 – Introduction �Chapter 2 – Details of training experience* �Chapter 3 – Conclusion *can be divided into several chapters
Chapter 1 - Introduction �Starts with a general introduction of the organisation or company background �Must include the organisation chart �Name & address of company �Name & position of industrial supervisor �Start date & completion date of training �Next, describes briefly the job description or task setting during the training
Chapter - Details of training experience �Assigned tasks and the settings �Cover the applications of fundamental knowledge, practical skills and modern tools for each assigned task. �Challenges and difficulties encountered �explain the solution(s) or action(s) taken to cope with the challenges and difficulties. �Highlight the results and contributions to the company.
Chapter - Details of training experience �Contents must clearly demonstrate the students’ learning process and achievements of the desired Course Outcomes �Apply fundamental knowledge �Demonstrate practical skills �Follow rules/guidelines �Demonstrate ethics/professional conduct �Display communication skills �Display independence/teamwork �Demonstrate life-long learning �Clear, complete and concise explanation �Precise and specific – which rules/guidelines/code of ethics
Chapter - Conclusion �Summarise the working experience, identifying your strength and weaknesses during training, �Describe how the industrial attachment has helped your personal growth, development, and preparation or expectation for future work. �Give a summary of the project(s) involved in, include a project description �Relate back to the Course Outcomes of industrial training.
