ONLINE COMMUNICATION All school correspondence ie; newsletters, class letters and event information will be sent out to you electronically by email or text from the school office via Teachers 2 Parents. co. uk So please ensure you keep us up to date with your current email address and mobile contact numbers We use Tucasi (SCO) for all transactional payments into school. You will be issued with a letter containing a code that is unique to you, in September, once your child starts school with us. This service enables you to pay for any school trips and wraparound care securely on-line directly to us.
PUPIL PREMIUM Pupil Premium is an additional payment given to our school by the Government to support the education of children who are eligible for Free School Meals We decide how this money should be used and have to publish the information on our website. We carefully monitor how the funding is spent to ensure it supports each child, improving their learning, confidence and enjoyment of school. SCHOOL UNIFORM Our school colour is electric blue. Sweatshirts, cardigans and fleeces with our ‘hedgehog’ logo can be purchased from Skoolkit. Please see below for ordering information. Footwear should be safe for all daily school activities so open toed sandals/clogs and backless shoes are not appropriate. Children also need a PE kit in school every day: shorts, t-shirt, jogging bottoms and sweatshirt, short socks, trainers (plimsolls not needed until Spring term) in a named PE bag (please tie long hair back on known PE days). SCHOOL LUNCHES All Infant School children in England are entitled to a meal, free of charge, under the current Government • Registration is not required • HC 3 S, who provide our meals, cook and serve a hot, two course meal which includes a meat and non-meat option. • The children select their lunch option in the classroom each morning, as part of their school routine. • Over 90% of our current school children choose to have a school lunch each day • Special diets for medically proven allergies are catered for – forms are available tonight or from school office. (The menu is nut free) • But, if you prefer you can send your child in with a healthy packed lunch from home (which must be nut-free)
