Goals, strategies, actions • India: In the next 3 years, at least 10% of library and information professionals will achieve the competency in DL development – E&T – advanced, modular curriculum – Fellowship – Workshop – Interdisciplinary • Collaborative development of DL related software, • Communication – The need for high-speed broadbend network, we need to explore the high-speed connectivity between India and the US
Goals, strategies, actions • Content – critical mess content development – how? – Identify collections • Fostering the Indo-US collaboration in Digital libraries, we can start with the development of model DLs in education (for all level), cultural and heritage, XXX areas in 3 years – Benefit can be fed in to the e. Governance programs – The need for language studies (Unicode…) • Copyright – develop a model for addressing and managing copyright and IP issues • Develop guidelines for the development of MM DLs
