Pachuti �When Pachuti became an emperor he changed a lot of things � Pachuti started by reorganizing this city of Cusco and turning it into an empire � After doing that he made a new government �The government system was known as Tahuantinsuyu.
Tahuantinsuyu �Tahuantinsuyu was the name they called the government �It was divided into a federal government and four provincial governments. �Inca men were the head of the four provincial governments.
Sapa Inca
Sapa Inca �Sapa Inca held a lot of power �He was the Son of the Sun �He was the empire’s religious leader �Sapa’s queen, The Quoya, took out important religious missions and duties and sometimes took his place when he was absent
Sapa Inca (Continuation) �Sapa Inca wasn’t elected �He was born to be the next emperor �He had all the power in his hands �The punishments were very hard and cruel so almost no one broke the laws
Cuzco as Capital: � Cuzco, as its capital of the empire, grew out to more than 2, 500 miles �It got transformed into an empire �In the middle of the city, was placed the great Temple of the Sun � Its inside walls were covered with gold
The Heights of Inca’s stone work: �Machu Pichu is one of the biggest and most important Inca stonework. �It stands 7, 000 feet tall.
Inca Rulers Maintain a Large Empire: �In the 1100 s, the Incas found their first dynasty. �Afterwards with three centuries, Pacchuti came. �He enlisted most men in the army. �The Cusco, later stretched from the Ecuador in the north to Chile in the south
Monarchy �The Inca government was a monarchy government �Monarchy government is a government that is ruled by a single person �The Leader of the Empire was Pacchuti. �All the Inca people were with the monarchy government
Military Organization �Inca has formed a military organization �The army was very organized and had all the equipments and all what they needed at all times �The Inca military was always known that it has the most organized people and had educated soldiers in their army.

Government’s Responsibility: � The Incas governments responsibility was taking care of the elder people, that includes the poor people, the sick people and the old people. � Another responsibility was when there were earthquakes or so, the government had to send troops to help the people � The last responsibility was building roads and bridges and provided needed things to the Inca people.
