Setup Region setup in 5 groups automated by TSA • Regions for Bank office applications • Regions for Electronic Banking • Regions for shared Bank applications • Regions for AG Insurance • Regions available on all subsystems Regions started initially: • IMP 1/IMP 2 : 90 • IMP 3/IMP 4 : 120 • IMP 7/IMP 8 : 80 All regions are PWFI except during maintenance window Preload lists created for those running more then 1 TXN IMS GSE | 09/09/2020 | 6

Setup Classes • Region groups are created based on CL 1 parameter • Most Regions only have CL 1 specified • Older regions have up to 4 classes defined • About 149 different classes are defined • 121 serving 1 transaction • 16 serving up to 20 transactions • 12 serving more then 20 transactions • Special classes • Class 9 = Technical issue • Class 10 = Application unavailable IMS GSE | 09/09/2020 | 7

Monitoring Transaction queuing for all classes (every minute) • Standard region setup for normal work • When queuing extra regions will be started • Stop extra regions when workload drops • Alerting for critical transactions when all extra regions are started and still queuing (exceptions allowed) When region occupation is to high (70%=high/30% normal), extra regions are also started to prevent queuing IMS GSE | 09/09/2020 | 11
