Water: definition • The water is a colourless, odorless and insipid substance. Only distilled water is pure.
Animals need water • Animals need water, too: they drink water, some animals live in water.
Animals need water • Some animals swim to eat fishes. For example, ducks.
Plants need water • Pants need water because they can only absorb salts from the soil if they are disolved in water.
People need water • We need water, too. We have to drink to survive. Without water, animals and plants die. If animals and plants die, we die, too!!!

Water…for ever? • But we have a problem: in lot of places it isn’t rainning. All people need water to survive but there are droughts in lot of places.
Water … for ever? • They have to walk a lot to find water. But we can stop it.
PROBLEMS
THE OIL • The oil Pollute the water, make the fish, plants…. Died.
THE POLLUTION • The factories pollute the water.
Floods • Floods destroy cityes, countries …. .
Drought DROUGHT dry the trees, animal, plants…
SOLUTIONS
DON´T WASTE WATER 1. Never water your lawn or garden in the rain. . . let Mother Nature take care of it for you. 2. Never allow a sprinkler to water a sidewalk, driveway or road. . . ensure you water only the lawn and garden. 3. Never over water a lawn, garden or outdoor plant so there is water pooling or running off. . . use the soak and cycle technique - water one area for 15 minutes then move on to another. 4. Never have a pond or fountain which does not recirculate water. . . install a circulating pump. 5. Never wash your vehicle with a flowing hose. . . use a hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle. 6. Never wash a driveway clean with water. . . use a broom and sweep.
