Implementing the competency framework: Other training issues • Additional training is provided on diagnostic tests using POCT and use of GPPAQ, QRISK 2 etc • Shorter courses are available which run for two days minimum • Refresher appraisals in line with framework is also conducted annually • Shorter courses have been offered to staff who work alongside health trainers www. halton. gov. uk 8
