Main challenges / implementation issues identified for MS • Up-grade of the Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS) • Permanent grassland, including the set-up of a pro-rata system • Greening: Mapping of Ecological Focus Areas (EFAs) in the Land Parcel Identification System • Challenges for on-the-spot controls (sampling, timing) 5
Main up-coming challenges for the Unit • To go on exchanging with MS • Closer monitoring whenever necessary • Relations with the Joint Research Center to look further into practical implementation issues • Simplification exercise 6
