EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT PROGRAM Helps bridge the gap between the military job seeker and the employer Provides employment assistance to job seekers National Guard Service Members, Family Members Unemployed, Under employed, looking to make their next career move Career counseling for job seekers Personal career planning, resume/cover letter writing, interview prep, job search techniques, and translating military skills

JOB SEEKER ASSISTANCE Primary focus is assisting Illinois National Guard Service Members, Veterans and Family Members (SMVFMs) in finding career employment opportunities through individual counseling, web-based application programs, job fairs, employment assistance agencies and established employer relationships Provide employment preparation assistance Reach out to National Guard Unit Commanders and SMVFMs within the State of Illinois to ensure all are kept informed and involved on employment services and opportunities Refer qualified National Guard SMVFMs to employers
