HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (HRD) REPORT 2013 Learnership At present we have trained one of our unskilled ladies in office administration and have equipped her with a certificate. Artisans and apprentices ABET Training Two of our young staff members have been trained in the operation of heavy machinery , an front end loader and TLB these are vital skills in our industry. They have acquired official certificates from a certified training company. Ikwezi Quarries has initiated the ABET training at our offices , all the staff members were invited to attend. We have converted two of our offices into classrooms to accommodate this. To date we have committed ourselves to the study of two students Date 10

We have committed an amount of R 150 000 , we have just completed the structure , this is on going. The was a destitute women leaving in our community in a one room house with three children , we build this women a four room house at a present estimated cost of R 190 000. We gave 30 of the most needy community members food parcels for Christmas in 2011. This came at R 100 000 Date 11
