Birth Year Change • Effective at Tryouts this year- age groups will be determined

Birth Year Change • Effective at Tryouts this year- age groups will be determined by birth year • USYS simple calculation to determine your child's age group – (Year of State cup Finals) subtract (year of child’s birth) – For 2017, if your child was born in 2000, 2017 -2000=your child is in the 17 and under age group

Playing Format Changes • • 8 and under- 4 v 4 10 and under- 7 v 7 12 and under- 9 v 9 20 and under- 11 v 11 – Looking into small sided league play for 15 and under not in high school for fall – Looking into combining 18/19 group • Finalizing goal sizes and field sizes- all are grandfathered in for 2016/2017 season

Playing Changes • New Head Ball Rules– 10 and under are prohibited from heading

Playing Changes • New Head Ball Rules– 10 and under are prohibited from heading the ball in games and practices – 12 and under are limited to the amount of time allowable at practice, are allowed to head balls in games – Staff working on proper ways to teach technique • Concussion protocol coming

Club News • IFJ partnering with Indy Eleven for NPSL team – US Open cup first week of May – Friendly against Indy Eleven – New stadium at Grand Park • Spots still available for all Senior boys and girls for trip to Italy: July 1 -July 10 • Office update- Indy Eleven took over HQ
