• Note: Whereas, Colossians 3: 5 listed the “desires of the flesh” (Eph. 2: 3), Colossians 3: 8 -9 lists the “desires of the MIND. ” (Eph. 2: 3). Ephesians 2 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the MIND; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
• Note: Whereas, Colossians 3: 5 listed the “desires of the flesh” (Eph. 2: 3), Colossians 3: 8 -9 list the “desires of the MIND. ” (Eph. 2: 3). Here, he begins with the ROOT (the ATTITUDE— “Anger”)… and works us to the FRUIT (the ACTION— “Lying”).

• “Dwell” = SETTLED place. 1 Kings 8 I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever. 13
• “Dwell” = SETTLED place. • We are to allow the Word of Christ to find a “settled place” in us so that we are no longer living our lives according to the “desires of the flesh and of the mind” (Eph. 2: 3). . . But according to the “desires of CHRIST”— as they are revealed through His Word!
