Let His Word Dwell in you (3: 16) • His word must dwell within us Psalm 119: 11, 133 Psalm 40: 8 • Is His word our standard? To appeal to any other standard is to be deluded Galatians 1: 6 -9

Teaching one another (3: 16) • We need each other. • Edification – building up Ephesians 4: 16 1 Thessalonians 5: 14 • One way we edify is in our worship – 1 Cor. 14: 26 • We need to be here – Heb. 10: 24 -25

Do all in the name of the Lord (3: 17) • By what authority? • Authority means permission! • Jesus is our source – Matthew 28: 18, Luke 6: 46 • Division is the result of man failing to respect His word • 2 John 9

Relationships (3: 18 -4: 1) • Relationships are important How we treat each other will determine what we truly are • Husband/wife, parent/child, master/servant, etc. • When we pursue God, our bonds are stronger – Eccl. 4: 912, 1 Pet. 3: 17, Eph. 5: 22 -33, etc. • Matthew 7: 12 • James 2: 8
