IEEE 1609. 3 -2020 ENHANCEMENTS • LTE-V 2 X support (3 GPP PC 5 Interface) • Release 14, 15 • Support for IPv 4 Addresses in WAVE Service Advertisement (WSA) • No fast setup support as with IPv 6 WAVE Router Advertisement (WRA) • WSA support for application data payloads • Explicit support for data exchange over alternate interfaces (e. g. , cellular) while using the WSA over WAVE to initiate transactions
