The Section should be helping them. The Section receives $1. 50/student rebate. Students should be invited to your Section and Chapter meetings. Joint Section/Branch meetings are a great way to network with students and members enjoy it as well. It also promotes a post-graduation link with IEEE.

E-mail Alias One benefit available to IEEE members is an IEEE e-mail alias. This can be either an e-mail box via Google or an alias which redirects mail to your regular account. However, it will never change as long as you are an IEEE member and identifies you as an IEEE member. In addition, it also includes sophisticated spam and malware monitoring. IEEE-e-mail processes approximately 820, 000 e-mails a day, and 1/3 of them are spam and 2% contain malware. See https: //www. ieee. org/membership_services/membe rship/googleapps. html
