Initial ideas • When brainstorming potential ideas for my advertisement, I initially considered producing one for an autism charity group which is close to my heart, P. O. C. A. I also considered producing one which showcases Derry as a popular, tourist-attracting city or one which captures the nightlife Derry has to offer. • Although the material would be easily accessible and it would be quite easy to create a successful product, I decided on a different idea – Makers of Barcelona – as this seemed a lot more original and professional and the advertisement will be one of the main tasks given to us as part of the Erasmus+ programme during our educational trip to Barcelona.

Legal and ethical considerations • If any children are present when filming, we are obliged to ensure we gain permission from a parent/guardian beforehand. • The advertisement must be accurate/truthful and not in any way misleading to the viewers, following the advertising codes of practice. • Stereotyping/discrimination of any social group must be avoided. • Copyright of any manner must be avoided.

Proposal • Clips of Barcelona with a voiceover in the background speaking about the location. • Voiceover then goes on to speak about MOB with the camera zooming in on the MOB logo/sign. • Initial shot of the building, showing the audience a brief overview of the building and code pad used to gain access into it. • Interview shots supported by cutaways of Barcelona and the MOB co-working space, focusing mainly on the services they provide. • Contact details, promoting the company’s social media websites also.
