Purpose of the meeting Planning for Cross District Peer Reviews 18 January 2016 to February 2016 Ø Confirmation of routes by host district Ø Orientation of reviewing district to the routes Ø Agreement on feedback and communication process during the peer review

Facilities selected for peer review • Facilities selected for cross district peer review: Ø First year scale-up facilities – 1 169 Ø Performing very poor Ø Top 600 facilities selected from first year scale-up facilities with best scores

Confirmation of routes and orientation • Individual consultation session with each host and visiting district • Schedule indicate times – be available 1 hour before session • Google maps to show routes

Confirmation of routes and orientation • Host district: Ø confirm location of facilities Ø vehicles required and Ø accommodation • Visiting district: Ø confirm location from where they will leave Ø orientate themselves on the planned routes • All: Ø confirm members and personal detail of team members

Teams for Peer Reviews • 2 Teams per district • 2 staff members per team = 4 per members per district • All team members will be assigned rights to capture for the district they are reviewing • = PPTICRM PR (Peer Review) • Teams conduct Status Determinations (SD) according to schedule • Capture SD at the end of every day

Process during peer review • If facility did not achieve Ideal Clinic status: • PPTICRM PR that conducted the SD contact the National coordinator for that provinces and inform him/her that clinic failed • National coordinator will then assist facility to correct elements that were failed • District PPTICRM of that district will then conduct another SD once facilities has corrected short falls – ROLE: PPTICRM PRU (Peer Review Update)
