Results from questionnaire If I was to go based on the most popular responses from the audience, the name for my short film would be ‘wasted’. Although my original idea was going to be Today, as it was the day that everything changed, wasted also works well because it suggests alcohol abuse even though it proposes that Knowles has ‘wasted’ his life and it is now over.

Timing would definitely be an issue for my short film and working out how I could get all the content into a 5 minute film. Perhaps doing a trailer could shorten this down, yet I might not be able to include all elements of the film in a trailer as it would reveal the dramatic twist at the end and would be pointless to do as the audience would not be surprised when they watch the film, thus aren’t intrigued to watch it.

A male character for Knowles is the most common, this is the gender I originally wanted to use and the audience feedback shows that this is also what the audience perceive to be the best. However, there is no difference between the ages used for the male character. Therefore, I have decided to perhaps use an 18 year old male actor but dress him and use prosthetics to make him appear older.

The written data given by the participants who took part in my questionnaire has really aided my development of how my short film will play out. Therefore, I will now develop the ending to a more ‘audience suited’ content. For instance, after the crash Knowles is given a choice to either live his life, but change it, or die. He chooses to live and make changes for the better, yet his wife Mary sells his soul anyway.
