WHAT’S THE PURPOSE & AUDIENCE OF 1) The purpose of the first animation is a Japanese advert for a signature Mario kart game and is aiming to persuade the audience, which is anyone watching the TV, to go out and buy their game. It appeals to anyone interested in gaming and fans of the Mario series of games. It enables the company to promote their game easily to almost everyone and although it might be costly the benefits out way the costs as it spreads the word of the game it’s advertising to anyone watching that specific channel.

WHAT’S THE PURPOSE & AUDIENCE OF 2) The purpose of the second animation is again to inform and persuade viewers to buy their various bug repellent products, sun cream & after sun lotion. They express this in a much more simpler way than the other animation done by Nintendo however they didn’t need to overcomplicate it and it suited the audience that the products are trying to appeal to. The main audience they’re appealing to is probably mothers or fathers who are buying sun cream and bug repellent for their family. It’s essentially trying to convince the parents to buy their product over anyone else's and their animation also appeals to kids too and it does the job of trying to sell.

PURPOSE & AUDIENCE OF MY ANIMATION My animation is to promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy living and to help people recognise the effects of things like smoking and drinking too much alcohol can cause. It will be a 30 second animation full of useful information to meet it’s purpose. The audience will be viewers on the TV however it could also be aired on You. Tube or other websites to maximise the amount of people seeing it. The audience it’s aiming to appeal to is those interested in health and fitness or those suffering from some of the health issues mentioned. It’s other purposes is to help people that may b unaware of the damages their causing to their body or those in need of some motivation to be healthier.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MY ANIMATION The requirements that I will aim to include in my animation is that it must talk about the effects of smoking or drinking too much alcohol as well as that you should eat a balanced diet and complete regular exercise in order to stay fit & healthy and free of disease. I will try an include as much as possible without it looking like it’s crowded with information you can’t take anything in as it has to be under 30 seconds and yet still be helpful and informative. I will also include audio in the background to make it more appealing and provide the viewer with something to remember the animation by. Assets I will include is facts about health & fitness as well as smoking e. c. t as short sharp facts that stick in your mind so you won’t forget them. I will also try to make it quite cartoon based so it appeals to younger viewers too and it distracts you from the seriousness of the purpose. It don’t want it to seem boring.
