Privacy concerns Similar to online banking, email & mobile phones, we are not watching the customer’s business. The first user of the data is the customer, if the customer agrees, the data can also be used by the distributor to monitor issues that arise and increase uptime. The concept of ICONs is for the customer to focus on his business, while his/her CP distributor looks after the machines. It requires a signed service agreement for the distributor and CP to actively monitor the events coming from the customer’s machines. Still a long way from watching the business. Collection of more data means we can come closer to a true “predictive maintenance” program for all our distributors to use with their customers. Footer 14. Date
Uptime is a bargain Consider the risk of a reactive approach. An unnoticed problem may lead to unscheduled downtime, higher costs and most of all disruption of production.
