This workshop is NOT REQUIRED as preparation for the year. $200 due on first day plus materials ($20 -$50, depending on size of icon you choose) Pantocrator Workshop, Fall 2010 3 -hour classes every other Saturday, Labor Day through Thanksgiving 6 classes: Sept. 11, 25, Oct. 9, 23, Nov. 6, 20, 9: 30 a. m. -12: 30 Participants will write the icon of Christ the Ruler of All Creation (one famous example of which is above left) using the traditional medium of egg tempera. $200 plus $125 materials if didn’t take “icon preparation” workshop. Independent work required between sessions. Hodigitria Workshop, Spring 2011 3 -hour classes every other Saturday, Lent through end of May 6 classes: Feb. 26 th, March 12, 26, April 9, 30, May 14, 28, 9: 30 a. m. -12: 30 Participants will write the icon of the Mother of God of Guidance in egg tempera. (The example to the right was written through the hand of the teacher, Randi Sider-Rose. ) $200 plus $125 materials if didn’t take “icon preparation” workshop.
