From The Beginning Icarus’s father was Daedalus did some stuff that landed him and his son in Prison.
Daedalus’ Story Daedalus made a Labrynth for a King. The Labrynth was to keep a monster, the Minotaur from escaping.
Daedalus’ Story But… The King didn’t want anyone to know how to escape from the Labrynth, so he decided to lock Daedalus and his son away in a tower.
The Minotaur’s story The Minotaur was the child of King Minos’ Wife, Pasiphae. He had the head of a bull, and everyone thought he was a monster.
The Minotaur’s story Fun Fact! Tauros means Bull in Greek, so Minotaur was named after King Minos and bull!
The Minotaur’s story Since the Minotaur was mean and ate people, King Minos decided to put it in a specially designed maze called a labyrinth.
Daedalus’ Story Of Course, Daedalus didn’t want to stay in prison with his son, so he began to devise a way to escape.
So, He started collecting feathers.
Then, He used all of the feathers and some wax to make himself and Icarus some Wings!
Now, Before they Left, Daedalus told his son, “ Icarus, listen to me, and don’t fly too close to the sun.
He told Icarus, “ If you do, your wax will melt and you will fall into the sea!”
But of course, Icarus didn’t listen. He was so excited about flying that he flew too close to the sun, and tumbled into the ocean.
