700 MHz and 2500 MHz - Next steps – Public consultation related to the designation of Block D, and general public safety issues such as governance, interoperability, licensing approaches – Detailed technical rules (RSS, SRSP) will be developed in collaboration with the industry (RABC) – A SAB on the transition of licensed low-power radiocommunication devices from 700 MHz band to be published soon MBS (700 MHz) auction expected to be held in 2013 BRS (2500 MHz) auction expected to be held in 2014 2

SRSP Revisions SRSP-500 (VHF) – Include corrections and update format/language – For RABC in fall 2012 SRSP-502 (800 MHz) – Incorporate changes for border coordination and formatting – Publish in fall 2012 SRSP-511 (700 MHz NB PS) – Removal of the provisions for sharing with broadcasting, corrections and clarification – For RABC late 2012/early 2013 (after close of SRSP-500) New SRSP-517 – Technical rules for BRS in the 2500 MHz band 5
