Comments – Nuclear Law (2) ØPreamble – recognises management of radioactive waste for current and future generations ØSection 11 (2) – qualifications of Board Members: 10 yrs for Legal Rep but similar years of experience not applied to others? ØSect 19 – disclosure of interest annually: good requirement (transparency)
Comments – Nuclear Law (2) ØSect 139 (Appeals) – Why an even number of members? Does Chairman have a casting vote? ØSect 140 (3) – Consider a shorter appeals period ØIntroductory/explanatory notes – very technical, suggest to simplify
