Spot Mr Whoops’ Mistakes Activity 1 Despite the awful whether, on Saturday I went to watch my beloved Whoopsville United. I have shown my adoreration for my local football team since I was young by attending every home match. Now, on the last day of the season, they were in the middle of a relegasion battle. It was a must win match but the pressure was having a terrible efect on almost every player. Everyone exccept Jimmy Verdy. United’s new scoring sensaysion, who’s weekly pay cheqk must be thousands of pounds, looked like he was determined to keep his team up. In the final minute, Verdy ran from his own box, straight threw a group of defenders and placed the ball into the top corner of the net. The joyous crowd screamed his name allowed – he had kept them in the league!

Bobby, whose my sister’s five-month-old son, was dropped off early in the morning. I had never been aloud to look after him before on my own but how hard can it be to supervize someone who just sits in a chair and stairs all day? I followed his parrents’ instructions and prepared some baby serial for his breakfast. While he was eating, I turned my back for a matter of seconds and when I looked back, it was no exagerration to say that he was covered in the stuff! My only option was to give him a bath so I took him upstairs. I quickly closed my bathroom window so he didn’t catch a cold from the druaght and began to run the water. I’m no expert in babie’s baths but I knew not to make it too hot!
