BAND’S HISTORY Backstreet Boys history begins at Orlando, Florida, where the college students A. J. Mc. Lean, Howie Dorough and Nick Carter took part in several local band’s tests. The three became friends and made a vocal group, which expanded when Kevin Richardson and his cousin Brian Littrell, so the quintet was formed. They became quickly one of the most famous Florida musical attractions.
