I use a knife because a knife is

I use a knife because a knife is a threatening object and could deal great damage and is a everyday item so could be easy use by my antagonist. The connotation of a knife is shape dangerous and could be use for murder or self defence. My protagonist could use a gun as a gun can be a quick and easy to kill someone. The connotation of a gun is powerful imitating and quick. The gun can be used to assassinate people. Also the use of a weapon is a powerful thing and can be use to intimidate a person. The colour of the gun is also a factor as black is seen serious. Mysterious which is associated with fear and unknowing. This effects the audience as it is a sense of unknowing for them aswell. My antagonist can used rope to ty people up. The connation of rope is restricting and a loss of freedom. Rope can always be use to hang people. If the antagonist uses the rope to kidnap someone the audience will gain a sense of fearof the future of a character My antagonist is going to be a clown so the use of a giant hammer is a stereotype of a clown weapon. And can be use to hit people and cause a injury. The only problem with a hammer is that could be seen as funny as therefore loss fear but i believe the way the hammer is use will control if the audience see it as a threat or not.

The make up of a clown is key for my antagonist and can really scare people if its done right. A clown is a trickster and the denotation of a scary clown are a nightmare. a large red wig is important as red is a colour which shows death, blood and lust. These can all link to the characteristics of antagnist. The connotation of blood is danger, murder and injury. So blood is one of the conventional of a horror film and can be use to show many thing such as writing a threat or a trail of blood to the scene of a crime. Mud can show that someone hasn’t showered and that they are dirty and maybe been captured or running away. So it will help show a struggle by a character. This can lead to the sense of intrigue or fear about the outcome of this character. A scar can indicate pain injury and torture. This could help me show maybe hints to a back story or maybe the antagonist has hurt the character. Scares can also be used as something to scare a as it looks intimidating as it can show strength of a antagonist.

The locations that I choose fit the horror genre as they are dark, abandoned and creepy. The locations I have choose fit with my antagonist as he is going to be a clown so abandoned theme park is the perfect place for a undead clown. The location were all family places at one time so imagine them like this will scare people. A abandoned place is scarier when you know of how popular they were in the time you were open so have a empty space gives you the feeling of being alone with no one to help you.
