Habit 2 – Be Goal -oriented • What do we mean by ‘goal-oriented’? • Having a goal in mind is important (be it academic or leisure) • Be focused and determined; constantly check if you have met your short term goals. • Celebrate or reward yourself with little achievement and then move on to bigger goals.
Habit 2 – Be Goal -oriented • Did I do twenty push-ups within one minute? • How do I get an ‘A’ grade for my CA 1? • What are my plans to attain that? • Did I try to improve on my current behaviour? • Am I more self-disciplined now?
How have you been proactive so far? • Have you made the first move to help others? • Did you greet your teachers when you see them along the corridors? • Did you tell someone to stop doing something that is wrong? • Have you been responsible in your work? • Are you in school on time? • Did you control your behaviour without your teacher asking? • MAKE IT A HABIT TO BE PROACTIVE =]
