John 11: 25 -26 • Jesus: 25 I am the resurrection and the source of all life; those who believe in Me will live even in death. 26 Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never truly die. Do you believe this?

I am the resurrection

Resurrection • Means standing up • I AM Rising up • I AM raising up AND THE LIFE

“You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. ” • She doesn’t know that Jesus will raise Lazarus • Her faith is not perfect • She is a superb example of a believer whose faith is being sorely tried • The trial exposed what she really believed • This is an amazing statement of belief • Can you stand up and say this under trial?

“No, I’m in Paradise, why would I want to go back to the Land of sickness and death? !!”

• Jesus: His sickness will not end in his death but will bring great glory to God. As these events unfold, the Son of God will be exalted.

What can we learn? • The disciples entered into a higher level of faith. Martha and Mary got a greater revelation of the Lord as “the resurrection and the life. ” • “I, I am the resurrection and the life. ” Jesus says this - Life is not found in some future event per se. Life is found in Me, the author and source of life. -------, you are looking at the answer! In me there is resurrection power and there is life.
