I am going back to school!

We have all been staying at home to keep everyone safe. Some children have enjoyed being at home. Some children have been bored at home.

Now, it is time for us to go back to school. Holiday 1 st June 8 th June 15 th June 22 nd June 29 th June 6 th July 13 th July Holiday Some children will come back to school next week. Some children will come back to school next month. Some children in Reception will be coming back to school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Some children will come to school every day - but not Saturdays or Sundays! Other children might not come every day.

I will go into Class 4’s classroom My teachers will be Mrs Gittins (M, T, W) and Mrs Wagstaff (Th/F) We will walk into the classroom. Mrs Gittins Mrs Wagstaff We will take it in turns so we stay at a safe distance from others. Only children and staff can go into the school building.

There will only be a few children in my classroom. I will have my own box to put my water bottle, snack, coat and lunchbox into (if you are not having a school packed lunch). We will only be sharing resources with the small number of children within our group to help us keep safe. The teachers and TAs will clean these regularly throughout the day.

At lunchtimes, I will stay with my class group friends and we can play together on the playground or field. We will keep space between us. We can run around and have fun! If it is dry we will eat outside. If it is wet we will eat inside with a space between us.

If am not well, I will stay at home

The school has been cleaned to make sure that there are no germs. It will also be cleaned in the day after we have used something.

To keep safe, we are not allowed to touch each other. We can still wave and talk to each other though and give one another a great big smile.

If I sneeze, I will use a tissue Catch it Bin it Kill it

I will wash my hands every time I change activities. We will be learning a hand washing song to the tune of ‘Happy Birthday’ to help us…
