Global is partnering with TMD Security, the leader in ATM fraud protection products, to provide state of the art security solutions. � TMD Security can provide security solutions for all the ATM models that would potentially be deployed by First Hawaiian Bank, expect for the 7800 series. As this is a new product line, TMD is still actively developing customized solutions for each model in the 7800 series. TMD expects to have the security packs for all 7800 series ATM models in the next 60 days.

TMD Card Protection Plate The TMD Card Protection Plate is the industry leading system to protect ATMs against “Deep Insert” skimming and shimming attacks � The number of reported “Deep Insert” skimmers is rapidly increasing. The skimming device is inserted behind the read head with the magnetic stripe on the card and the read head being targeted. � � The Card Protection Plate (CPP) is a metal plate inserted behind the read head, preventing any skimming or shimming device from being inserted. The length of the CPP prevents it from being removed from the front of the ATM or from being pushed through the back of the card reader. � The CPP also prevents shimming attacks wherein a very thin device is inserted deep inside the card reader in the space between the contacts of the card reader and the card. The shimming device does not physically skim the information, but intercepts the information exchange between the card and card reader.
