Group project
P 7. Brainstorming Ideas Now, it’s time to brainstorm ideas! (You already kinda started it, though) 1. Revisit your problem statement + solution proposal, and articulate the goal clearly but concisely in "one sentence” (you already have it but refine it if needed). 2. Brainstorm ideas • Brainstorm features/contents that can help achieve the stated goal • Come up 5+ different ideas (features/functions/contents) at least, more the better, that can help achieve the goal o At least have 1 idea that is crazy, absurd, strange, funny, or bizarre • For each, you need to have: o Title: A keyword to state what it is o Description: A short paragraph to describe what it is and how it will contribute to achieving the goal o Sketch: draw rough sketches of the idea using Pen and Paper. Provide a sequence of sketches per idea, if necessary. Annotate if necessary.
P 7. Brainstorming Ideas Format • A PDF file, 12 point scale in Times New Roman, 1. 5 line spacing • Add a team name, a description of your project, a ink to your project website on top (Your website should be accessible with full contents) • Body should include: o Project goal in one sentence o 5+ features with title, its description, and sketch(es) • At the end: Indicate who contributed to the original writing of each section and who helped improve and/or review at the end
P 7. Brainstorming Ideas Rubric • 1 pt for each (set of) idea (5 pt in total) o For each idea, novelty, soundness, relevance, and clarity of description will be evaluated (up to 1 pt per idea) • You will lose 10% if your website doesn’t work or miss contents • You will lose 50% if your submission does not follow the format • You will lose 30% if it’s a late submission (Not accepting a late submission after 24 hours from the due) Due by Midnight 3/20
