2016 Open Enrollment is just around the corner. Starting January 1, 2016, City employees will see upgraded benefits and reduced premiums. During the open enrollment period, City employees may do the following: üTransfer between health plans. üChange the type of health plan. üAdd/Remove dependents and/or domestic partners. üStart or continue flex spending. üReview/Update Beneficiaries.
Open Enrollment Benefits Fairs The City will be hosting three benefit fairs. Representatives from all benefit providers will be available to answer your specific questions. Dates and locations include: DATE Wednesday, Oct. 21 Wednesday, Oct. 28 Wednesday, Nov 4 TIME LOCATION 2 – 4 p. m. 1 – 4 p. m. 2812 Meadowview Rd. , Multipurpose Room 5730 24 th Street, Gold Room, Building 22 915 I Street, City Hall Outside Plaza List of Providers: Kaiser, Sutter Health Plus, Western Health Advantage, Delta Dental, Vision Service Plan, The Standard Insurance Company, ICMA-RC, Aflac, Employee Benefits Services (Flex Spending), Legal Shield, Liberty Mutual, and Mental Health Network – Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Easy Enrollment City employees can conveniently update their healthcare plan starting Sunday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. The following are the two easy ways that employees can enroll: v e. What’s New 2016 – Reduced Health Rates and New $40 Co-Pay ØKaiser’s $25 co-pay plan and High Deductible plan rates went down. New $40 co-pay. ØSutter Health Plus $25 and High Deductible plan rates went down. New $40 co-pay. ØWestern Health Advantage. New $40 co-pay. ØElimination $15 co-pay plan that will help employees avoid paying the Cadillac Tax on high premium medical coverage.
What’s New 2016 - Dental Delta Dental’s PPO plan will offer: üReduced premium from $53. 16 to $51. 41 (3. 29%). üNew! Orthodontia, with a $1500. 00 lifetime maximum cost. üNew! Implants, 75% paid by Delta Dental Note: The annual maximum is $2, 500 for all dental work.
What’s New 2016 – Vision Service Plan will offer: üBasic Plan: reduced co-pay from: $25 to $20, $175 for frames or $150 for contact lenses. üNew! Enhanced plan: $20 co-pay that will offer $200 for frames and contact.
