HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME in the field of spatial environmental planning The Human Resource Development Programme and SEP-Net will cater to those dealing with land use planning and management including urban planning, regional planning, planning an development of environmentally relevant activities viz. industry, housing, transportation, mining, tourism, water supply, protection of environmental resource areas etc. The specific target groups include: q. Officers from pollution control boards, town planning authorities, urban development authorities, municipalities etc. q Officers from sectoral authorities viz. transport, housing, industry, mining, tourism, forests etc. q. Consultants, planners and other professionals engaged in spatial environmental planning. q. Teachers and trainers offering courses and educational programmes in planning and development. Programme is supported by: Standardization & Quality Assurance The training programmes are identified based on a detailed training needs assessment. The programmes are opted by the training institutes base don their field of expertise. The Quality Assurance Group at the Central Pollution Control Board assures correctness of the course contents and post-training evaluations for ensuring improvement of courses continuously until the modules are standardised.
