INTRODUCTION HYPERATLAS V 1 • A spatial analysis tool for multiscalar analysis of inequalities • Created by geographers and computer scientists in 2000 • Adopted by ESPON 2006 Program • Further used by European Parliament, EEA … • Transfered to external countries (Tunisia, Romania, …) HYPERATLAS V 2 • ESPON 2013 Project realised in 2010 • New functionalities (econometrics, simulation, …) • New datasets at different scales • Integration of own data by users (Hyper. Admin) Currently not sufficiently used by ESPON projects except TPM.

CONCLUSION • HYPERATLAS could be used by more ESPON projects • TERRITORIAL MONITORING is one of the most obvious candidate • EASIER CONNECTION with database is necessary • MORE TIME SERIES should be introduced in the datafiles with new functions (convergence measures, concentration, …)
