Preparation • Unlike Dialog where you received a user number and password and you were ready to login, in Scopus you have to register first, to get your User Name and choose your own Password and only then you can login • You have received your Scopus Registration number (looks like this): 12345678 x 123 (case sensitive, x is lower case!) and Password (looks like this): 1234567 • You will use these only once – for registration – during registration Scopus will assign you a User Name and you will choose your own password; you will use these to login into Scopus Tefko Saracevic 2

Instructions as provided by Scopus Register your bulk-ids. To register all you need to do is open your web browser and type in the URL http: //www. scopus. com/scopus/personalization/bulk. As part of your user profile you will be prompted to select a personal password. After submitting the profile you will be assigned a user name valid for use on Scopus & Science. Direct through your institution. Your user name will be based on combination of your given name and your family name as it appears in your profile. Both the user name and the password are case sensitive. To access Scopus after your initial registration, go to the URL http: //www. scopus. com.
