strategy • Everybody produces 3 D models in any CAD format • They are centrally collected (native file storage area, EDMS? ) • They are centrally integrated and qualified (same coordinate system, overlaps, clash detection…) under the supervision of systems engineering (Jack office? ) • Systems engineering converts models for integration in a unique CAD model system (CATIA? Revit? ) • Systems engineering will produce global models for reference in STEP and Navisworks formats • These are stored on EDMS (frequency? ) with a versioning stamp • Interested people (subscription? ) are informed of the new version and related changes 2

Production drawings • All production drawings derived from such approved models. • All production drawings and related specs are stored on EDMS in their specific systems folders (version stamped) • All Production drawings will go through various phases – Good for reviewing – Good for tendering – Good for production • All production drawings marked as good for production will need to be centrally signed after a proper internal review process (on EDMS). • Good for production signature: – by Elaine for cryostats/cryogenics/CF – by Eric for all consortia and TCn deliverables – by Marzio for all integration material. • Production allowed just on centrally signed drawings and specs 7
