FIRST STEP • The first step to making a Prezi is to go online to prezi. com and create an account. Create a public account because it doesn’t cost any money. Then fill out the form with all your personal information.
SECOND STEP • The next step is to create your very own prezi. There is a box that says create new prezi… click it. Make a title such as social studies project and then have a brief description on what that projects details are.
THIRD STEP • Chose the template that you like, this will become the background for your prezi. Once you click the template you want, click start editing, this will take you to your newly designed Prezi.
FOURTH STEP • On the left hand side of your screen you will find a plus and minus sign, the plus will make the text bigger the minus will make is smaller. The next step is working on your boxes, which will become the main feature of you prezi. To type just double click anywhere. Since there is already a bubble, click inside it and start typing.
FIFTH STEP • Once you start to type Prezi will add your bubbles to your path. The path is the order that your bubbles will go in. Once your are finished typing you can edit these bubbles to go in whatever order you want. To edit the path drag the line to the bubble you want and drop it. This will change the order of the bubble. If you want to erase or change something, simply hit the back or forward arrows at the top of the screen.
SIXTH STEP • This optional step will help you to make your Prezi more interesting. To do this click insert and click on the one that you most desire. Now you can add these links to your boxes. How cool!!
SEVENTH STEP • After you have finished your Prezi look over it to make sure there are no errors. If there are, double click the box again to edit it.
EIGHTH STEP • Instead of going through the long process of saving, Prezi does it automatically for you every two minutes. If you are in a rush this is a huge time-saver because you don’t have to even think about saving your Prezi. Just another awesome feature of Prezi.
