How to create a student Edmodo account Mrs. Mc. Kinney-Sierra Vista Middle School
Step 1: 1 Go to www. edmodo. com Step 2: 2 Select I’m a student on the edmodo homepage under the sign up section.
Step 3: 3 Enter the group code so you can be added to the correct edmodo group page. Your group code is: Step 4: Enter the same username and password you use at school for Blackboard or to sign onto the computers. Email is optional and then enter your first and last name. Step 5: Click Sign Up!
Step 5: 5 Now you should see the groups and communities you are a part of on the left menu bar. You can edit your account with a picture if you like under Profile on the top right. Note: find documents under Library and check the calendar for assignment due dates and tests. Step 6: 6 You can ask questions here to me or fellow students by posting/replying on our class wall. School appropriate ONLY! I will read and monitor everything. Step 7: Now you will see homework reminders and handouts posted on here instead of Blackboard.
Step 8: 8 Finally, your homework is to go home and give your parents this code so they can set-up an account (same tutorial, as a student but different code). Remember: I will be monitoring who is a part of our periods 3 -6 group, so make sure to remind them! I will no longer be using Blackboard, as slowly it is being phased out.
