Log in to the LINCWorks RDA or VAN • Connect the to unit’s Wifi

Add the Signal strength command • Paste in the following without the quotes into each box – ‘Signal Strength’ : into the first box – ‘qmicli -d /dev/cdc-wdm 0 --nas-getsignal-info’ : into the second box • Select the 2 nd check box to allow public access – This will be explained on slide 9 • Click Save and Apply

Run the new Signal Strength command • Click ‘Run’ next to your newly created

Link the command • Select the ‘Link’ button next to your new command •

Link the command • Select the ‘Link’ button next to your new command • Write down the url that appears as seen in the screenshot – You can now visit this address and download a text file with your signal info without logging into your admin portal • Why is this useful? – If you need to remotely view the signal level and don’t want your onsite contact inside the LINCWorks device portal
