Part III: Two-way Discussion Time: 4~5 minutes Topic: Family parties (similar to the topic in Part II) Sample Questions: What are the main reasons why people organize family parties in your country? In some places people spend a lot of money on parties that celebrate special family events. Is this ever true in your country? Do you think this is a good trend or a bad trend? Are there many differences between family parties and parties given by friends? Why do you think there is?
Tip Four: Read the question clearly -- 題目一定要看清楚, 如“Talk about a famous person you admire”,不能談你的國中老師或母親! -- 第三部分對話時,如果你需要時間思考, 可以說:“That‘s an interesting question. ” or 以下句話重覆問題 "You'd like me to tell you about (topic). "
Useful Expressions 轉折語辭。 To start with, First, Second, …In Conclusion. 詞窮時 -- "Oh, the word I'm looking for has slipped my mind. “ 答不下去,想重新回答-- "I'm afraid I've talked myself into a corner. Let me start over. " -- "I don't think I should continue in this vein. Let me say it in a different way. “ 要回答自然,不要像是背的!
