How Does the EMS Core Team Work? Quarterly meetings are held to discuss progress toward goals and to obtain/share new information We report progress for all goals on one sheet of paper Sharepoint is used for electronic resources Co-chaired by EMS Lead (450. 1 A) and Energy and Water Lead (430. 2 B) 8
Value Added After One Year Program owners (stakeholders) now integrated in lab efforts Everyone understands program drivers and talks with a unified message Obtain input from programs on environmental goals Providing a single message to DOE customer generating additional communication on DOE side Synergies created. Members get excited on how existing projects fit into bigger picture. Energizing. Thinking about what else we could do. More grass roots, involvement by all (not just Environmental) Language barrier broken down Everyone chips in to help program goals 9
