Animal Adaptations

Example of traits and adaptations For example, a bird has different types of beaks to eat different types of food and seeds. Also, there are sea turtles who have inherited from its parents how to swim.

Animals traits and heritage Other animals have a trait. Other animal learned traits or heritage to defend themselves like a puffer fish who has poison at each end of their points. or heritage traits help them to move like a bottle nosed dolphin who has a streamlined.

Final Animal Facts Pandas have adapted to eating bamboo over the years so now their teeth are strong. Pandas also have adapted to get a thumb to help them grab the bamboo.

Plant Adaptations

Examples of adaptations Some plants in the artic live close the ground so they stay warm. Secondly, seaweed on the bottom of the sea grows to the top of the sea to get the sun and nutrients it needs.

2 ND to Last Plant Fact Other adaptations are for defense just like an hedgehog, a rose has sharp points. [this rose got it points taken off]

Final Example This is not a bucket A bucket orchid has orchid, but it’s just a learned to trap a bee plant. who loves its sweet smell.

Learned VS. Inharited

Learned A baby fox learns how to hunt from watching its mom for the mom taught its kit. A learned adaptation is like an animal or plant as it like you learning to walk.

Inherited A baby sea turtle inherits how to swim. A flower inherits the color from its parent like a kids hair you inherit it from your parent.

WHAT’S THE DIFERENCE? Learned must be showed or taught by someone or some thing. Inherited just comes when your born or even from your parents like the color of the hair or eyes.
