How do you learn best?
Everybody learns in different ways. They are lots of different learning styles and if you know which style suits you best, it can help you to learn more easily and effectively. We are going to just focus on three of the key styles in this session, so take the quiz on the separate Word document and find out which describes you the best!
Do you recognise yourself in these personality traits? Some might fit, some might not – that's okay! Kinaesthetic learners: Aural learners: Visual learners: • Say things like 'I see' and 'that looks good to me' • Like to write, doodle and draw pictures • Usually has good handwriting • Likes to read • Remembers faces • Notices details • May not remember jokes well • Can be quiet • Say things like 'that sounds good' • Talks to self aloud • Enjoys talking • Easily distracted by noises • Enjoys music • Outgoing personality • Likes to be read to or hear others read rather than read themselves • Can be easily distracted • Say things like 'I can follow that' • Taps pencil or foot while studying • Enjoys being active • Doesn't particularly enjoy reading • Will try new things • Uses hands while talking • Outgoing by nature • Often daydreams • Wears clothes for comfort
