• God sees our hearts, outside appearances don’t matter. • We should not do things to get praise from people or show off. • We should not compare ourselves with other people or dare to judge them. God alone knows our hearts and minds. • We must never look down on other people and think we’re better than them.

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men…But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. TO MEMORIZE… One is God, the Father of all. One is His Son, Jesus

TO MEMORIZE… One is God, the Father of all. One is His Son, Jesus Christ, the Word, who came in the flesh, died and rose from the dead on the third day, and raised us together, in Him. One is the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who proceeds from the Father; He sanctifies all creation and teaches us to worship the Holy Trinity, one Triune who is one in essence and one in nature. We praise Him and bless Him forever. Amen
