Shelters The homo habilis the early humans were usually on the move to find food so they did not stay in the same place for long time. They lived under the rocks that were hanging on the mountains instead of caves as they were scared of animals that lived in the caves so they wouldn’t go inside the caves. They also made crude shelters from branches.
