Homework Unit 13 Conditional Sentences
What would you do if you were them?
• In order to communicate with one another, we require to speak a common language. If there was no common language between two people, there would be no communication between them. Similarly even computers have to be ‘instructed’ by us if we require them to do our work.
• The instructions to the computer are given using 0’s and 1’s. Can you imagine that? If you want to say ADD 2 + 2 to the computer, separate codes will have to be written using 0 and 1 for A, D, another D, the symbol ‘+’ and 2 and another 2. This would indeed be very difficult.
• When you switch on a computer, it goes through a complex set of instructions. This it does to ensure that all its components are working properly and to warn the user if something goes wrong. This is the first step of a very complicated process called booting.
• We will use this software if it is compatible with our computer system. • Use this option if you prefer to create your own key, or adding a new device to your wireless existing networking using an old key
• Care has to be taken about maintaining those parts. If something is not right with one of the parts, then it has to be repaired immediately so that other parts do not get affected.
• If there is no return statement control is passed back when the closing brace of the function is encountered (“falling off the end”).
• This is the easiest part! To invoke a function, just type its name in your • program and be sure to supply arguments (if necessary). A statement using our factorial program would look like
• When your program encounters a function invocation, control passes to the function. When the function is completed, control passes back to the main program. In addition, if a value was returned, the function call takes on that • return value. In the above example, upon return from the factorial function the statement
• It remains there, till the time the user wants to add more data in it. If the contents of the file are not required the file can be closed. Thus, closing the file is the process of telling the operating system that the contents of this file are not required for the time being.
• . For any information to be available, a program has to be executed first. This information does not get stored anywhere. This is because, if the data and the program that generates the information, are both present, there is really no need to waste storage space in storing more data.
• By maintaining, we mean that we need to make a list and keep that list safely somewhere. Suppose it is a list of all the books, you have. This list has to be made and kept handy. Every time a new book is purchased, the name of that new book has to be added to that list. This is called updating the list.
• Doing this for a collection of books at home can be simple. But suppose this has to be done for a library at the university, the job of making a list and maintaining it would be huge.
• The J 2 EE specifications and technologies, can by definition, make few assumptions about how precisely the APIs are going to be used to deliver applicationlevel functionality.
• The sample application reflects a multitier application model. This decision assumes the presence of both a Web container and an EJB container. The following enterprise requirements heavily influenced the choices made:
• The ability to externalize internal data without having to make many assumptions about the consumer of the data and to accomplish this in a loosely coupled manner.
• This book assumes that you have a working PHP setup, preferably PHP 4. 0 or later.
• This means that for a manual that shows a user how to use Power. Point, the manual will assume that the user has complete knowledge of the Windows operating environment.
• This decision assumes the presence of both a Web container and an EJB container.
• It is very clear that Windows is the most popular operating system. (That Windows is the most popular operating system is very clear). It seems that Windows is the most popular operating system
• The following sections present a number of application scenarios, setting the stage for a detailed discussion of the sample application. In reviewing the J 2 EE specifications, a large number of application scenarios could be considered. Indeed, the specifications tend to embrace and encourage diversity.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
