TEN CHAIRS - GAME SET-UP: * Ten volunteers from class are to line up ten chairs and stand in line, one behind each of the chairs * Nine of the volunteers represent Carnegie Steel Company’s workers * One of the volunteers represents Andrew Carnegie At the end of the game: 1. How does ‘Andrew Carnegie’ feel? 2. How do his ‘workers’ feel? 3. Would you push anyone off the chairs to make room? 4. Who would the people who have been pushed off the chairs or who are standing on the floor represent in society?
